I grew up in a family of ten on a small farm in Nebraska.  I have a treasure  trove of warm memories from my childhood including our own milk cow, chickens, a huge garden and a horse to ride.  Many folks might have considered us poor but as kids we never knew that and in fact thought we had the best life ever.  A lot of this had to do with my Mom and her amazing homemaking skills and gifts of caring and encouragement she would bestow on everyone, family, neighbor and stranger alike.

If you had a birthday, she baked a cake but you could be sure it was festive, perhaps in the shape of a butterfly.  She was very organized, which of course, you have to be with 8 little ones under foot.  She made sure we always had wonderful nutritious home cooked meals.  We always ate together and shared our experiences of the day around the table.  I made it a priority to do this with my family as well.

I just learned about the Demarle product and purchased some and tested them and then tried them out some more.  I found out it is the quality and performance that they say it is.  It intrigued me even more when I heard the CEO talk about the Art of Good Living.

Having a very high quality product that is built on having fun with friends and family together in the kitchen is where my heart is also.

I have been a teacher for Physical Education, Health and Nutrition so I also appreciate that it contributes to healthy eating.   I would like to be part of encouraging a return to the simpler times.  Away from our hectic lifestyles and a return to living the good life.  I think today's Americans are longing for the simple pleasures of family and friends around the table enjoying not only savory food but the art of good living.
